a close group of friends and family will lay to rest 52-year- old steve towson.e was a high-ranking member of the santa cruz hell's angels club, shot and killed at the cemetery two weeks ago during the funeral service of another hell's angels member. three to four thousand people takenned that service, and that large crowd made it difficult to respond to towson's shooting for police, to secure the crime scene and apprehend the shooter some today's funeral service for towson is supposed to be much smaller since it will only be by invitation. it's a security precaution that police say they worked out with towson's family ahead of time, in police say they've been working on the planning for this for the last two weeks. the man police believe is responsible for the death is still on the run. witnesses say 38-year-old steven ruiz got in an argument with towson at the funeral two weeks ago and pulled out a gun and shot towson. police explained why their officers needed to be here today. >> we have to stop this. just bus a lot of the deaths occurring are homicides. and
