i'm steve wolford. and i'm rikki cheese. it happened just before 3 at pecos and bonanza. here's a look at where that is on a map. we know a suspect has been shot. but no injuries to officers have been reported. no word yet as to why the shooting happened. this shooting comes just 4-days after that police shooting in front of the bellagio. and action news has a crew headed there. we'll update you as soon as we get more. a valley high school teacher is free on bail.. and facing some serious charges. police say jillian lafave had an inappropriate relationship with a student who has a learning disability. it allegedly happened inside a special education resource classroom. the student and lafave both also admitted to kissing at the school, but said they never had sex. ccsd says lafave was just in education teaching there.
