we'll have some cool spots, frederick down to 28 degrees, leonardtown 36, stevensville 37. expect to have a chilly night as we just have clear skies now. the moisture up to our north will stay to our north with that particular system, might get a little band of clouds to our north and west and maybe a few sprinkles of rain coming through garrett county a little later. tomorrow we'll watch the stronger cold front get closer. it does push milder air in our direction. we'll describe it as cool but really for february it's not bad. the frontal boundary will be closing in and it crosses tomorrow night. as it does so we might squeeze out some rain and snow showers. it appears as though an area of low pressure will try to develop along the leading edge of that colder air and on saturday we know it will pull in the cold stuff. so our question remains where does this area of low pressure get to and there are two scenarios we can see happening. one is that it goes off to sea and there's very little snow for the metro area or perhaps it's just right down here through the hampton roads
