adriana diaz, cbs news, stillwater, oklahoma. mollie: 17 people remain hospitalized, including five in critical condition. the university of mississippi has stopped flying the state flag on its oxford campus because the banner contains the confederate battle emblem. interim chancellor morris stocks ordered the flag lowered this morning. the action came days after the student senate and other groups adopted a student-led resolution, calling for removal of the banner from campus. since 1894, the mississippi flag has had the confederate battle emblem in the upper left corner. residents chose to keep the flag during a 2001 statewide vote. the first bear hunt in florida in more than 20 years was so successful, it will come to an end on just day two. that has protestors taking aim at wildlife officials, with fears that more bears were killed than the quotas that were set. jamie yuccas reports. jamie: when the hunt started on saturday, officials said that up to 320 bears could legally be killed. by midday today, hunters had killed 293.

"she doesn't remember a whole lot about what happened. there was a period where i think that for a better lack of term, she could've even communicated with me, the end of the crash, people removing her from the car, shards of glass being everywhere and her being extremely confused while at the same time trying to maintain the ability to cooperate." coleman says the chambers family is devastated by this - and while he acknowledges the seriousness and horror of what happened - he says the person he met with does not resemble the monster some feel she
