kron 4 sarah stinson in the newsroom with the details. sarah. >> so far in court, wesley brownlee, he has he's been charged for 3 of the 6 killings that he's accused of in. so today we expect to be rain for more charges and that includes the murder of a man in oakland. this is brownlee in court last month for his arraignment. prosecutors say 5 happened in stockton in one happened in oakland. want on dates ranging from april 2021. to august of this year. now brownlee is also accused attempted murder of woman. the 43 year-old grew up in oakland and has a lengthy criminal history of drug dealing. stockton. police say they arrested broadly mid-october as he was hunting for a potential next victim. now that claim by police that has brownlee's public defender requesting a protective order against the pretrial publicity saying these types of statements could prevent him from having a fair trial when they go to select jurors. but the judge struck that motion down. now, wesley brownlee will be in court this morning at 9 o'clock in stockton. and we
