even up here to the north bay here, well, it might see some 50s perhaps here and there. stinsonch at 59. 69, petaluma. okay. vacaville a 70 up in here. a drying out phase, a mild phase really for the season as you can see. 70s and lower 80s in there by about friday. what is happening with area roads there, robin? >>> the commute is picking up but looking pretty good so far. for you early commuters who are about to hit the road, here is a live look at the ride into san francisco. it is nice and smooth so far, approaching the toll plaza. about 15-20 minutes ago it was really crowded in some of those cash lanes. that has thinned out. overall a nice ride from oakland to downtown san francisco. your commute from the east bay, over to the peninsula, not bad at all. the brakelights you see here on westbound 92, that is traffic coming out of hayward to the peninsula. it is a nice roll. only 13 minutes. that is a great drive from the nimitz to 101. bridge crews, a zip truck here switching around the lane configuration on the golden gate to accommodate commute traffic from the north bay.

stinson beach. 84 degrees in sonoma. we have rain, it's back in the forecast. i'll tell you which days to expect it, that's coming up at 48 after the hour. but first, here's roqui. >> thank you, roberta. you were talking about the earthquake. i was around for the '94 earthquake in northridge, california. the time now 5:37. in hayward we have a new crash here. southbound 880 after highway 92. that's the san mateo bridge a three-vehicle crash still blocking the two left lanes. we have tow on the way to try to clear that for you. but backup is starting to get worse and worse. traffic moving at just 14 miles per hour. now, how's the san mateo bridge? here's a live look at it right now. 880 to 101 across the span of the san mateo bridge will just take you 15 minutes. so all good into the peninsula. now, another story here on the altamont pass, from tracy on the 205 you're moving at 20 miles per hour. and then it gets worse and worse as you progress at 15 miles per hour. but then you see some sunshine there at 29 at north flynn road into livermore. north tracy boulevard to the altamont pass will take you 36 minutes. and keep in mind, mass transit san francisco

here. it will start working it'sth way over the bay. but it's pretty shallow right now. we have some reports of fog beginning to show up as well, also around stinson beach, and what we're looking sat from south san francisco, the golden gate, san mateo coast, it's really filled in in the last hour our so. although it has not yet taken the turn at santa cruz to monterey. so far, it's going right down the coast. still sunny for some. northeast at oakland, east at haves, so the onshore hay washed, so the inland breeze is there, but that will turn pretty soon and for more westerly. 40s and 50s on the temperatures. 48 morgan hill. santa rosa 53. look at bolder -- boulder creek. it will be foggy gray for some right on the coast. there's a lot going on out here. it will play into a cooler weekend forecast. think the rain up on the north coast really holds off until monday. even then, it will be confined to the north bay. this will start to move back towards us, but not until next thursday and friday. and a ton of things could and probably will happen by the time we get there. rainfall could be decent up north, but i think for us, looks pretty week right
