i had some strong concerns about the 30 stockton extension. summarized as it's unsafe. it's unnecessary. and i think it's bad government. and let me explain those in a little more detail. i know i only have a couple of minutes here. in terms of unsafe, the street is very narrow, so putting buses on a street where there are is retirees and young kids doesn't make sense. the route has multi-turns where they're not necessary and that's going to lead to delays in traffic, additional policing and potential problems. there is a three-ton restriction for commercial vehicles on the boulevard. i know that doesn't apply to muni vehicles, but that three-ton weight limit is there for a reason. we've been told it's anecdotal. i don't have evidence of this, but we've been told that the water barrier between the marina and the land is unsafe and has not been reinforced. and consequently running high-weight vehicles around the boulevard is going to lead to problems with the sea wall there. that's what i mean by unsafe. unnecessary, i would say again, as i'm a frequent rider of the 30,
