stoxx 600 is flat. european markets and how that pmi data has affected things. the ftse 100 is just below flat. germany is down and both had decent services pmi, manufacturing pmi was a little disappointing. overall the data not too bad. the german ppi data produced price inflation what really set the yoreuro he on a downward trend this morning. the russian index is down 0.7%. we've been focusing on the u.s. ten year that started that trend about a week or so to push above 2%. it came off a little bit as the fed was relatively dovish early in the week. back on 2.1%. a sense of positivity about the outlook for the u.s. economy which has seen profit taking in the yields tick inging up. the ten-year german yield remains below 0.4%. we've seen a similar move in the uk to that in the u.s., yields have ticked up as expectations have increased at the margin the last week or so with strong wage inflation. we get public sector finance data at 9:30 for the uk. ten-year greek yield, 9.83%. below 10%. perhaps more positivity but, of course, that moves around every day quite

we have the stoxx 600 up .5%. let's dive in and look at the stocks 50 as well. >> we can see the full story. it's up.7% and jeredny's dax index did cross. it was a record high that it touched earlier in trade. this follows 1.5% of gains for the dax yesterday. it was a big beneficiary of the ceasefire agreement and strength today up .6% and it's got from 10,000 to 11,000 since january 16th. a 10% gain. i can do that math in my head. italy is up 1% itself. the german ten year has, in fact compressed further even though we're on a drive over the last two days. that stays at .34%. spain here as well below 1.6. the u.k. the other side of 1.6 and italy at 161. we did see an interesting strong move from sterling. it went up cigsignificantly after mark carney gave the inflation report. he made it clear the next move as we look at things is likely to be up. that meant expectations stayed around where people had them but sterling strengthened off the back of that. 1538. let's also look at the euro because it strengthened ye

we opened down .7% in the stoxx 600. you can see a rally. seeing us down .3%. edmund doesn't think that's because we're getting better news out of the greece concern. but yoyoing either way. we're down only .3%. having rallied in the last 20 minutes. let's look at the individual markets, the ftse 100 is down down .2%. that doesn't help energy sectors. the dax just below. like wise france and athens is rallying a little bit today. a sub 1% move in the athens index. nothing too significant for greece. let's look at bond rates. the u.s. ten year did move yesterday. nonetheless, let's put that in perspective. we have yields higher than we were a week ago and then a month ago. we just came back from being above 2.1%. a little bit of a move there. in italy 1.65 and even if we have had some kind of agreement coming out of greece or request for extension of that bailout term we're still at 10.26%. the range bound for the ten year in greece is between 10.5 and 9.5 so we're still at elevated status. a quick look and the euro rallied a little bit in the last 20 minutes. i

we did finish yesterday basically flat on the stoxx 600 despite on going issues rounding the potential compromise of the situation. we bounce back. we're up .6%. we have strengthened throughout the first hour of today's trade. yesterday the ftse 100 was quite strong and the dax was quite weak but all are up. dax is up .6. france is up a nice amount. up .9 while russia is up 1.2%. the news we've just been discussing that ukrainian troops may well be surrendering in that crucial town. you may see the bulk of the fighting that's continued since the ceasefire agreement. the treasury .12% ticked up over the last week or so. that's showing a bit of a risk on sentiment that pushed equity markets up and seeing a little bit of profit taking in the bond market. yields ticking up. the same of course can't be said in europe where we have seen yields remain low. they're not quite as low to be fair as yesterday and the day before. .37%. in the u.k. we see them tick up a little bit. 1.78% and of course yields on the greek ten year 10.1% as we look at things. they have been moving around. 9.5 to 10.5
