so on saturday, june 10th, there was a shooting that occurred inside of stratus nightclub, stratus holds a po from our office. and as you might recall, there was a shooting that occurred outside of the establishment in september of last year following the incident last fall, i issued a director's order for a revised security plan, as well as the 72 hour public safety suspension. the revised security plan was reviewed by our office along with ingleside station police department. both of our agencies felt like it was a more than solid plan. while we have not received any 301 complaints about stratus since the incident, we have visited them multiple times to check on compliance and they demonstrated full adherence with their conditions during those visits. so we felt confident that things were looking good at this location until finally we don't feel that way anymore. more regarding the shooting that occurred on june 10th, we learned of the incident on sunday morning, june 11th. i received a phone call from supervisor safire's office about it, and we quickly set up meetings to speak with sf

we traverse now over to the golden gate bridge where we're seeing hints of stratus in the form of the low clouds beginning to build. also submitting high level cloudiness. i'll share with you where those clouds are coming from. but right now we see the patchy stratus over the bay here you see the san mateo coastline where the low clouds are now building. as we take a closer bird's eye view, we see the richmond, the sunset and the bay view districts. all with some gray skies. north beach, you too, will have some great conditions coming up because it appears as if these low clouds and fog are deepening. this marine layer is being enhanced. now, meanwhile, by 9:00 tonight, it's going to be more widespread as far as that marine layer is concerned. couple that up with some mid and high level cloudiness. so the bottom line is this is what you can anticipate right now with our temperatures in the mid 80s and santa rosa, livermore's in the low 90s, it's at 75 in palo alto, 60 in san francisco and 78 in san jose. the winds are brisk. they have picked up in the last 20 minutes here. fairfield a

a little morning stratus followed by afternoon sunshine. the high pressure ridge has been contributing to the heat. we've obviously been talking about so much, not just for california, but across the country is moving a little bit eastward. now that is going to take the foot off the gas pestle pedal as far as heat goes here locally, we still do have some heat advisories and excessive heat warnings for southern california. but those have all since expired for the bay area with nothing in sight for the rest of the week. 60's and 50's for san francisco and at the coastline. cool grey spots, but also some peeks of sunshine here and there it will be 70's for a lot of the bayshore. some really nice conditions for areas like foster city and san mateo, not bad for mountain view. and sunnyvale, you're at 78 degrees each well. 80's for most of the south bay morgan hill in antioch are 2 sprinkles of barely lingering 90's. fremont hayward up through oakland in the 70's bayshore again, looking really nice. even fill a hole in benicia tapping into that o

you see no fog, as we move forward into tomorrow morning, we'll begin to see the stratus surge up the coast, bring the cooling, combine with stronger on shore wind tomorrow. that will lead to temperatures probably a good 10 or 15 degrees cooler inland, versus what we're seeing outside right now. morning temperatures, 50s and 60s. plan on dense areas of fog. misty skies near the coast, and by lunchtime, climbing into the 70s and 80s inland. unlike today, we shouldn't see upper 90s to 100 degree temperatures. mid- to upper 80s. south of san jose. close to 80 in san jose. upper 60s in oakland. a bigger change could be the air quality. we're starting to see it outside. you probably noticed today, more haze. this is smoke coming down the coast from wildfires burning in oregon. now, right now most of this will be higher up away from ground level. you'll notice the change in the air. those skies not quite as blue. some comes down the coast, on the way to wednesday, still 80s inland. thursday and friday, temperatures rebounding. close to 100 degrees inland by the end of the week. something we

that low stratus is pushed right into the bay. we've got a pretty generous breeze coming in from the coastline today, which is going to contribute to the cooler, feel that we have. but it is also going make for a less than ideal day at the coastline. my suggestion for getting outside this weekend is really enjoyed that cool down for inland areas. we're going to have abundant sunshine and some daytime highs in the 60 70's while coastal areas, especially the peninsula, stays a little grayer and more windy, which may interrupt any of your coastal plans. tomorrow we have less morning, great. and tomorrow is going to be a better one at the coast. look at this. you'll get a lot of sun all the way out to coastal marine and sonoma counties tomorrow. as for sunday, we close out the weekend like we started it with some morning gray some afternoon sunshine and some cool temperatures. today's daytime highs will be 50's 60's for san francisco and at the coastline. well, 60's 70's both along the bay shore as well as further inland. very pleasan
