you can see that haze just over that low level stratus cloud. this is what it looks like lastnight and it was actually worst last night. we couldn't make it into the bay area for the training flight because of how bad the smoke was here locally in the bay area. it ruined visibility. and as we take a look at that current aqi even up into the north bay, we're going to continue to see some of the worst conditions up there into this afternoon. as that smoke continues to push its way in from the north. onshore flow will help some of us especially down into the south bay. but heading into the next couple of days this is the trend for us. we're dealing with that moderate to unhealthy category for sense ty groups widespread throughout the bay area. today and tomorrow. it starts to improve a smidge in the weekend forecast. but really if you live up in the north bay or into inland east bay even along the peninsula. that's where i'm watching closely. change gears, also under a fire weather watch which that starts late tonight for the northern mountains iss

here's your view from the east bay hills looking up at some mid-level stratus, some low stratus in some spots. now we do have sprinkles up towards sacramento. we had a mini stern solano county. look at all this activity for northern california right around lake tahoe on up towards reading. we've seen some spots a pretty heavy rainfall so far today. so something out there that if you are heading into the mountains, you want to consider bringing that rain jacket with you. high pressure on the out officially low pressure in and along with it. this cold front that swung through yesterday. i did notice that wind that pushed through the bay. thank you, breeze because you push out some of that smoke that was with us. and today we're looking at much better air quality, still breezy out of the delta keen as north bay mountains, little calmer for the south bay comparatively. and this is done a number on that. smoke cleaning it out, sweeping things up today. tomorrow into sunday, we're looking pretty solid with air quality. good, much more inviting to get outside. just bring that extra layer with

there's more that stratus coming right at us as we head through this holiday weekend. we're going to see looks like a slow rise in temperatures over the next couple days. no major heat wave on the horizon today. pretty pleasant out there. 60's along the coastline right now, 70 degrees. a nice evening in san jose. 76 in fremont 78 degrees and sunny in dublin. and 75 degrees right now in napa, the winds. yeah, they've been kicking up a bit. we've had some gusts over 30 miles an hour in the san francisco to see some of those. 33 34 miles an hour. and so, yeah, that healthy sea breeze blowing outside right now. but overall, the pattern really not all that bad, that low pressure center kind of scooting out of town, kind of muggy weekend throughout this week and almost a tropical feel to it. now that has moved on out. we saw the brought to the deserts there in nevada. now we're starting to see more of a typical pattern beginning to settle in. so this trough, though, it's going to kind of hang around. we're going to see one last wave of moisture swing through for tomorrow. an
