significant public and private investment in turn lead to a number of neighborhood businesses, streetscape improvement projects and cultural events that have contributed to a renewed vibrancy along a corridor once devastated by the san francisco redevelopment agency. the fillmore has long shown itself to be a resilient neighborhood and the entrepreneurial spirit remains strong along that corridor. in addition new businesses like state bird provisions and the sister restaurant, the progress and fat angel, the electrical bicycle super store and the koreanian restaurant joined with several of the long standing establishments to offer entertainment, food, retail and culture to the city and the neighborhood and continues to attract new establishments and a new barbecue establishment that will open at 1325 fillmore street and brooklyn circus, amazing clothing store. we stand by the businesses and the residents in the fillmore and continue the area businesses including through mayor lee's investment and neighborhood's initiative which provides assistance to strengthen existing businesses, improve

improvements to the stations and stops, and the vehicles services, the corridor, and pedestrian and streetscapenhancements. the update here, after an extensive community planning process, we have alternatives with side running and center running bus lanes in various sections of the corridor. official action select this as alternative for the project. it will not happen until the end of the environmental process. we have signaling to the community, this is the direction that we're heading in. as i mentioned we are in the environmental process, we are developing environmental documentation for public review. we're at the stain where we produced the administrative draft document. this has been through the process of local agency review and we have made changes incorporating local agency comments this week we will be sending the document to the federal transit administration for their review. and then make changes and circulate to the public. with the two agencies we heard input from the community. the board, and faster implementation of this project. we have been developing what we will call an in

we focus on cleaning the neighborhood, increases security, streetscape, marketing and branding of the neighborhood because it's a relatively new neighborhood, and we support nonprofits in the neighborhood that are working to make it better through our grant program called the community benefit fund. so the next slide are our active committees. we're very fortunate, we have a 28 member board of directors. a lot of people say how do you manage that many people, it's great they are all really committed to the neighborhood. so there's not a whole lot of that that goes on. we have 9 active committees, most of which meet monthly. the communities have both board member board members and members from the community, which is a requirement. orptions and affiliations. we have a lot of partners which you will see on the left side of the screen and a lot of affiliations. these are just a sample of the organizations we are involved in. the expansion group, really talking with them about how they can (inaudible) those are just a few of the examples that we're involved in and it makes sense. market s
