fees that were intended for the improvement of our neighborhoods in particular our parks, our streetscaping and other infrastructure needs. we actually learned of this loss only a little over 2 weeks ago and intended on calling a hearing january 13th and decided not to do so until we met with the mayor's of housing and members of south of market fund community advisory committee. as mentioned this fund was for infrastructure whether it be open space, community center facilities streetscape improvements. widespread facility and affordable housing. this growth to ensure we are building complete neighborhoods so as we have more residents and workers we are able to accommodate them with increasing transit, open space and other. the cac has been working diligently to evaluate potential projects that would have the most impact for a neighborhood and to give an example, the first infrastructure investment funding street lights across from the park. the only multiuse park in the south of market. in another example of the use of these funds included the acquisition of the united players clubhouse or

we focus on cleaning the neighborhood, increases security, streetscape, marketing and branding of the neighborhood because it's a relatively new neighborhood, and we support nonprofits in the neighborhood that are working to make it better through our grant program called the community benefit fund. so the next slide are our active committees. we're very fortunate, we have a 28 member board of directors. a lot of people say how do you manage that many people, it's great they are all really committed to the neighborhood. so there's not a whole lot of that that goes on. we have 9 active committees, most of which meet monthly. the communities have both board member board members and members from the community, which is a requirement. orptions and affiliations. we have a lot of partners which you will see on the left side of the screen and a lot of affiliations. these are just a sample of the organizations we are involved in. the expansion group, really talking with them about how they can (inaudible) those are just a few of the examples that we're involved in and it makes sense. market s
