we're live here in foster city where there is a sturgeon dead on the sand over there. let's take a look at the zoomed in a picture that i just shot. this is what we're seeing. hundreds of these small dead fish, some big fish. this is a big one right here. different parts of the bay area, striped bass sturgeon, even sharks, which is very rare. the reporting a large body or large number of dead fish in several parts of the bay area, including lake merritt, alameda estuary oyster point parts of sausalito as well. the nonprofit bay keeper says this is caused by sewage and refinery discharges into the bay and the organization's very worried about this, saying that we need to get this under control. but we're learning daily about what this means for humans and for these fish. and so you also notice the water in the bay is really brown and murky. that is due to the algae forming red tides. i caught up with an avid fisherman. he comes out here. >> every single day. can you seen the bloom before? but never killing this many fish. >> there's there's always been some kind of red
