a school district in suburban chicago is tracking students with gps technology.he students are given an i.d. card that they can attach to their backpack. as they get on and off the bus, they swipe the card. the buses can be tracked in realtime. and if a child is late coming home, parents can call the school and staff the contact the bus. >>> while you were sleeping, three new sleep studies came out overnight that linked sleep deficits to major health problems, even death. life is a little blurrier when you don't get enough sleep, making focus and concentration difficult during the day. but that's not all. new research finds depression and anxiety are more likely in young adults who get fewer than eight hours of sleep per night. the risk increases for every hour of sleep lost. and another study shows teens who don't get at least nine ours hoff sleep tend to eat more fatty foods and snacks. >> when you don't get enough sleep, there are changes in hormones that can change your appetite. >> grown-ups require a little less than nine hours of sleep, but the consequence

chicago transit authority buses. city hall heard about this and yanked the buses at the last minute. they went and found suburban school buses to rent. they got the parade under way, and they got half way downtown and they were met by a string of chicago policeman across what is now martin luther king boulevard. they had machine guns and shotguns. they said you cannot go any further. but we had an escort of four or five black police officers, and it looked at that moment as though something terrible was going to happen, and in the lead car was a wonderful priest. he leaps out of the lead car and its between the two and gives these white police officers to get hold of themselves. they backed off. downtown, city hall is surrounded by cops, again with machine guns. in the midst of this

districts have been shifting toward democrats, what has changed now is the suburban districts in philadelphia and new york and chicago appear to be moving back toward republicans, or at least moving in their direction this cycle. i think that is what is different this time. the candidates obviously have not changed. but what also has changed is keith fimian. he was attacked in 2008 by gerry connolly as being too social conservative for the district that may be more moderate on abortion and guns. but this time keith fimian is also running as a tea party candidate. well this suburban district elect a tea party type? that will be a test of the tea party strength. if he can indeed when this cycle when he did not before, i think it would be a very, very telling indicator for republicans across the country as a tea party social secured -- social conservative could win in a district like this, things would look pretty good for republicans in november. >> any thoughts about gerry connolly's popularity? >> gerry connolly, you would think starts out with a high name identification because prior to his election he was fairfax c
