sue serio, right? she not only gives us like 8,000 weather hits in the course of six hours, one in the hallways, news room, sue how is the weather just watch my forecast. so here is our chance. >> it is okay. hey, this is how we roll. we're here for awhile. but we have all the information you need to get you through not only this day but tomorrow, as well. so you see, there is rain in our area. you also see as you look back toward the wigs that there is lots of precipitation yet to come. we're colder temperatures are in the northwestern part of pennsylvania, there still is some snow. and there could be some dicey spots to the north and west every us, we'll look at that a little more in depth. for the philadelphia area temperatures have gotten to the point where it is pretty much rain. we're above freezing, little above freezing, but above freezing at 34 degrees. now, we have windchill of 27. we have sunrise exactly at 30:00, casino of milestone. as these days are getting longer. spring is getting closer, believe me, although with the forecast, you may not. so, that's a look at the ultimate doppler radar.

i know we are supposed to get another dumping of snow, sue has been telling us, tomorrow. today we might see people at stores like there is just loading up on the essentials, maybe the wiper fluid, maybe shovel, maybe the ice melt and the salt. because we are expecting this system to be decent, i guess if everything comes together as predicted. so yesterday we had really bad conditions. it was that mix of ice snow, and sleet on the roadways. people needed the scrapers and they needed the shovels and they had to take it easy on the roadways, and it took people a long time to get home. we talk to one guy who said it took him about 45 minutes to go two hours. we know penndot had reduced speeds on major roadways also the back roadways were clogged, so yesterday was not fun for anyone. people say that they're just fed one this winter season already. >> yes, i can handle the snow, i can wait it out, but the traffic is the worse. i mean, took me two and a half hours to get home tonight. so stop off here, get a bite to eat. >> freezing rain scares mere roads get icy. i would rathe

sue herera has the latest news for us. sue? >> yes, scott. we have more news and developments out of this incident at laguardia. just to recap, it was delta airlines flight 1086 originating out of atlanta, going to laguardia. it's an md-88, landed on runway 13. it skid off of runway 13. so far, the faa says it knows of no injuries, but a fire department spokesman for the city of new york says they are assessing people right now and so far it looks like any injuries that have occurred are minor. delta tells us the 125 passengers were on board as well as five crew members. they have been deplaning on crash slides. if you look at that video and focus on the right wing it's damaged, some reports by the associated press say it's -- the end has been sheared off, but the right wing is damaged and if you look at the nose of the plane, it is stuck in a fence. very bad weather conditions in the new york city area and laguardia has short runways anyway. those of us who travel for business, all the time, we -- most of the time we go out of newark or lagu
