. >> reporter: when we spoke to caitlin sumner on face time, she couldn't contain her excitement for's presidential inauguration, which crews are preparing for now at the national mall. >> i think it's just a wonderful thing and a wonderful opportunity to be able to witness such a great piece of history being made. >> reporter: sumner is planning to get a train ticket from trenton to washington, d.c., but for now, she doesn't have a ticket to the swearing in ceremony. tonight, she discovered someone selling tickets on facebook. when she messaged him, he said he'd already had an offer for $175 a ticket, but he'd be willing to sell it to her for $125. >> i'm not going to send that type of money. >> reporter: in fact, tickets to the swearing in should be free. each member of congress had an allotment for constituents. but we looked online and found inauguration tickets for sale on craigslist from prices ranging from $200 to more than $1,000. while it's not against the law, the joint congressional committee on inauguration ceremonies doesn't approve. tonight, sumner is still ticketless.
