later on tonight, into a lot of the inland valleys by the time the sun comes up on wednesday morning., with a shallow layer of fog. the weight of the atmosphere on top of us, pressing down and compressing the marine layer. you will be seeing the fog pulling away from the shoreline. you will see the sunshine. the warm temperatures tonight, would not guess we are in for the hot weather. close to average. 60 degrees in san jose. a lot of temperatures in the middle to upper 50s. one of the usual warm spots overnight. the temperatures along the coast. middle 50s, fog, burning off quickly, our temperatures are going to be off to the races once the sun comes up tomorrow. the free air-conditioning is not going to last very long. let's take a look at where we end up by tomorrow afternoon. high temperatures will reach the 60s along the coast. into the 90s down the peninsula. mostly 90s for inland parts of the north bay. hot weather, heat warning is in effect all of the way through friday. inland, the east bay, the try valley, 100 degrees, some of the hottest spots getting over 105 degrees. that

valleys are looking like this. this is a live view in dublin. this morning as the sun comes up. there's definitely a lot more of the smoke and issues with air quality as we're dealing with this stretch of the heat. that's putting a lot of high levels of ozone in the atmosphere, and then we do have a lot of fires burning across the region, which makes the air quality unhealthy for sensitive groups, especially in the east bay and santa clara valley. we tend to see the all of the particulate matter and those pollutants settling into the valley. so that's going to be the case again today. and our temperatures are going to be very dangerous in parts of the bay and some of our valleys hitting the triple digits. we'll see a high of 103 today in los gatos and 106 in morgan hill. very light wind and up to 100 a day in martinez and oakland will be in the upper 80s and 107 in livermore. antioch today, 109 and redwood city reaching 91 degrees hot there as well, but a short drive over to the coast will bring those temperatures down to the low 70s. we'll see that in san francisco, too, with a
