the alameda county district attorney has charged 50 year-old maria moore of sunnyvale and 46-year old marvel salvant of citrus heights with murder in connection to the killing of fremont resident dominic sarkar. the fremont police department believes moore and salvant conspired to kill sarkar in order to collect $800,000 in life insurance payouts.following sarkar's murder, fremont police would eventually discover that moore and sarkar were engaged in a sexual relationship and that in 2016 and 2017, sarkar changed life insurance policies on himself to list moore as the beneficiary. investigators also learned that moore and salvant, who has a criminal history, had been communicating through calls, texts, and private messages in the weeks prior to the murder. according to police, moore had payed salvant a 500 dollar advance to murder sarkar.following her lover's death, moore attempted to file a claim for the insurance money and police believe she had promised salvant a share of the payout. although, police do not have any direct proof that salvant murdered dominic sarkar they be

the alameda county district attorney has charged 50 year-old maria moore of sunnyvale and 46old marvel salvant of citrus heights with murder in connection to the killing of fremont resident dominic sarkar. the fremont police department believes moore and salvant conspired to kill sarkar in order to collect $800,000 in life insurance payouts.following sarkar's murder, fremont police would eventually discover that moore and sarkar were engaged in a sexual relationship and that in 2016 and 2017, sarkar changed life insurance policies on himself to list moore as the beneficiary. investigators also learned that moore and salvant, who has a criminal history, had been communicating through calls, texts, and private messages in the weeks prior to the murder. according to police, moore had payed salvant a 500 dollar advance to murder sarkar.following her lover's death, moore attempted to file a claim for the insurance money and police believe she had promised salvant a share of the payout. although, police do not have any direct proof that salvant murdered dominic sarkar they believe
