of sunshine once the sun comes up. warm and muggy. we've got an east-to-west flow that means the rain starts on the east coast of florida and works its way across the state through the afternoon. the futurecast keeps showing this batch of green on top of us this morning but so far i'm not seeing any rain developing. so again, we're off to a dry start. we'll have a better chance for a few inland showers by noon and then working their way more off-shore close to sunset. it's a very similar pattern and similar timing to what we've seen lately and the rain is most likely between about 2:00 and 6:00 today. temperatures this morning are starting off anywhere from the upper 70s to low 80s. 80 tampa now, lake wales at 78. lakeland 77. crystal river 77 and sarasota at 79. over the next couple of days we'll have about 50% coverage of storms through the afternoon and early evening storms because of that east-to- west trend. by thursday and friday we start to see some slight changes and slightly lower coverage. the weekend is where we go back to a west-to-east flow. what does that mean? a chance for a shower or two along the coast in the morning and then more widesp
