surae chinn has just arrived on the scene. she has the latest for us there. sur ray, tell us more. >>> major tragedy in the middle of rush hour. police are dealing with a double fatality. here's what we know. one person on a bike has died and one person, the driver of an suv. the driver of the suv was driving on lee highway coming northbound, crossed all lanes of traffic, went up the bike path. in fact the suv is still on that bike path. two people on a bike were on the path. one teenager, avoided that car. the other person we're hearing a 17-year-old boy died instantly. we have a witness here. who actually saw what happened. tell us what you saw when you came up to this accident. >> when i came up to it, my friend told me because the car came from that direction and -- [ inaudible ] >> did you see the driver and do you know what he was doing at that time? >> no, i not see that. >> reporter: do you know what happened that maybe medical issue. >> maybe a heart attack or something, yes. >> reporter: okay. we will continue to talk to police here on the scene. i

i'm surae chinn. bruce johnson is off tonight. one victim is laid to rest just 24 hours after a driver came barreling down a bike path killing the high school student. the 31-year-old driver also died. we are learning more tonight about the two victims killed along the highway and forum drive in fairfax county. lindsey mastis has more on this tragedy that left two people dead. >> reporter: he was just about to graduate high school. the 18-year-old wrestling star was riding his bike with a close friend possibly waiting to cross the road. >> hard to imagine him not being here. >> reporter: anthony thorne would have turned 32 today. he was driving a dodge durango. somehow his suv crossed six lanes hitting chad lee and then hit a tree. today the families of these young men are grieving. >> it is a big loss. a big hit. but thank god. >> reporter: chad lee's family laid him to rest today. his father says it must have been his time but he would have liked to see his son become a vet. >> he liked animals. he wanted to be a vet. i said oka
