nonprofits that use our properties to raise money for their efforts, like the heart association, susan g. k oman and a variety of other nonprofits. we as a result of our participation with the america's cup, we relocated or had to terminate 37 tenants, and we manage 557 tenancies. and many times we hear about the giants and we hear about the exploratorium, and we hear about the ferry building, but i would say 95% of our tenants are small businesses ~. there are city-owned resident businesses and they're working class jobs that support many of the businesses in the rest of the city. we have warehouses that store alcohol for our restaurants, fish processors, and many businesses that take the goods that they store on the port property and deliver them to various businesses around the city. everybody likes a piece of pie, so, this is a snapshot of the agreements that were executed in 2012-13. and as you can see, the majority of them are new agreements that are using our properties to become available. and we are proud of the work that we do. and there are projects that come to the port that

obama looks for international support at the g-20 economic summit hosted by russia. susan mcginnis has more. >> reporter: president obama arrived in st. petersburg, russia, today with a message for g-20 summit leaders. support the u.s. and its intention to launch a military strike against syria. >> my credibility's not on the line. the international community's credibility is on the line. the world is on the line when the u.s. population, 98% of the population says the use of chemical weapons is -- >> reporter: it would add resolution at home. wednesday a senate committee approved a resolution granting the president at least 60 days to carry out military strikes with the possibility of a one-time 30-day extension. it also prohibits putting ground troops in syria. the full senate is expected to vote on the resolution next week. but passage is far from certain and it's even more uncertain in the house where congressman grilled secretary of state john kerry wednesday about the proposed strikes. >> this will not stop the butchering and the killing that takes place over there,

susan rice, the white house national security adviser. she's been an integral part of the formation of this syria policy. tonight she flies with the president to the g-20 summit. tonight she joined us from washington prior to the departure. here now, part of our conversation. ambassador, first off, what happens, given this current policy, if you lose the vote in congress? what does the president do then? >> well, brian, we have no expectation of losing the vote in congress. we are quite confident and indeed today. we've had a series of very constructive bipartisan meetings that the president led, with the leadership of the house and senate. and the leadership of the major national security committees, a number of key leaders have come out of those discussions, making plain their support for this, on a bipartisan basis. >> ambassador rice, can you blame the americans? and i'm hearing from a lot of veterans this same question. who wonder, since when did we start announcing our intentions to the enemy. potentially giving the enemy time to prepare? >> we have not announced our intentions to the enemy. in fact, the united states has been making clear for

g-20. you hear that and hard to square with john kerry's comments which were pretty publicly dismissive of the notion of a diplomatic option, you combine that with susan rice and their commentary about diplomatic options doa and now there is one. what do we make of that behind the scenes and if the white house was prepared for this. >> it's hard to know if this is a grand plan or gaffing the way to a solution. i think you could sell a mix of both. clearly conversations were taking place. from my understanding, the white house and obama administration officials were not confident at all a diplomatic solution could be achieved. they are still not confident. keep in mind russia is a bit skeptical of this u.n. gambit after initially proposing it. we have a ways to go here. the administration still has to work through international bodies that don't tend to work that well or function that well to begin with, then back to congress. we have a ways to go. i'm not sure there's a grand plan playing out such as reacting to major events as they take place in realtime. >> p.j., what about the u.n. security council, the fact the french are putting this on the table
