susan, nothing beats royalty. your parents welcome screen elizabethan prince philip at the white house at the time of the bicentennialde in 1812. that that state dinner must have been a remarkable occasion. >> it was, it was a beautiful evening. i don't know if you are covering the white house them, and, they had put a tent on the south lawn. which is the only time we did it during our administration. it was a white tie dinner. it was the first time i got to wear long white gloves i wore a one shouldered dress which was probably one of my most favorite dresses ever. i don't know if i had a date, lisa doesn't stand out. it was a beautiful, beautiful evening. one of the funny stories from that evening was the fact that the band, when they played the first song for the first dance , i think it was the marine band, they played the lady is a tramp. my dad was dancing with queen elizabethan they played the lady is a tramp. i develop anyone else noticed that my mother did of course and was highly embarrassed. i am sure the news media covered it and criticized for whatever. it was l a lovely, lovely evening. there is a pictu
