for an update we welcome susan reynolds. i'm afraid to hear what the topic as the say but let's start. your piece appeared in this paper no. 5 in 2009. we're now in 2012. give us a rundown of how they let us down >> the san francisco spca is none of the richest on profits in the country and their primary objective has always been donations. in order to get donations they tell the city of san francisco they're saving all the animals and san francisco is a no kill city but in fact, i found out that they are far from it. i accidently found out by going to safeway, i ran into a woman with a pit bull and she said there is one just like him at the spca that is about to be put down and five said they are no kill and she said they're not. i went down and found out that the spca was having her foster that dog which got me curious. we went back to the kennels that animal care and control and she started pointing out all the dogs that the spca had rejected and started investigating and found out that at the time they were only taking 1

susan candiotti, cnn, norwood, ohio. >> hmm. reynolds is back now with a forecast for you.eynolds, what do you have in store for us? >> we have a lot going on. it's one of those days where you just have -- you just take your pick of weather im's around the country. when you think of ski season, ski season was very slow starting this year, and especially in central rockies. many resorts were building on snow, creating their own stuff. now they're finishing up the season and n a pretty strong way, anden only in parts of the rockies, but even in the sierra nevada where we have all the moisture coming in from the pacific crossing over the coastal range into the san walk even valley, and being boom, into higher elevations it's turning into snow that you can see plain as day. same story in southern california. you can see light snow especially up towards big bear, but then when you get over towards phoenix and flagstaff, you see the transformation of the rain. farther to the south and then when you get higher elevations in near staff, it's switching over to snow. same story in sa
