the ones in delaware stretch from sussex county up to new castle county. and a lot of these are fairly small but locally heavy rainfall has already been occurring. pretty slow movers too. a lot of them have been stationary and raining themselves out and redeveloping. right around middletown we're seeing some moderate rain. and so far, we've seen about 1 to 2 inches in parts of new castle county. also kent county. now, here's the other line of storms we're watching. this is approaching the lehigh valley. some models are not really showing it holding together as it moves in. but we'll track it anyway. if these storms do hold together, they could be near redding by 7:30. they're moving fairly slow moving to the east around 15 miles an hour. winds near 30 miles an hour in the storms we'll be tracking those very closely. locally heavy rain too. here's future weather. it doesn't show too much moving in in the meantime. by 10:00, though we're going to have the chance for some scattered showers or isolated thunderstorms. and even overnight, the cloud cover's going

you can see those clear skies but we have a few storms bunneling up in the southwestern corner of sussex county delaware and we have a flood advisory for poor drainage flooding with heavy rain falling in the short period of time. eighty-six in philadelphia. eighty-seven in allentown. seventy-six or 75 the atlantic city a airport. look at the cool push of air, only 68 in ocean city, 66 in sea isle and cape may 70 degrees with that flow, ocean water temperature still cool in the 50's. dew points though, that amount of moisture in the atmosphere is much lower then yesterday 62 in philadelphia which is pleasant, 57 in allentown so it doesn't feel quite as sticky as yesterday. as we look at the month of may as far as precipitation is concern, you can see one two three, four, five, six, seven days but we pick up an inch for the the month, we have 2.4 inches below average for the month and it was very warm, so the combination of the two had created some ab normally dry conditions. future weather shows we will be some storms, i don't know fit is enough to snuff out that deficit but we will see s

many don't think of delaware as a rural state but we have rural communities, and i hear regularly in sussex county in southern delaware, about their concerns about broadband access libraries, schools homes. in my former role as county executive i was responsible for a 911 call center and spent a lot of time on upgrading its response and some of the transition from a predominantly landline world to a predominantly cell phone world, and i know that you've been working hard on some investments to try to strengthen it. commissioner pai, could you explain a little bit more about the recent fcc rules on the topic and any other 911 improvements you think are necessary and chairman wheeler the fcc budget if i remember correctly provides something like $850,000 for a do not call registry for public safety answering points. if you could explain what that will be used for i would appreciate a few minutes on 911 centers. >> thank you for the question. i think our responsibilities are rarely cast in as sharp relief as when we're talking about public safety. the fcc has taken a number of steps to improve
