hey, suzanne. suzanne: if i am working, i am here doing what i am doing right now. today i am not working, i am volunteering here, but i wanted to bring this experience to everyone, all of our "good morning washington" viewers. they are packing up meals right now for friday, the day after things giving. they go back and forth, initially packing up the turkey meals. round of that, they pack for friday because friday is just as important to them as thanksgiving. we want to show you what is going on all morning long as hundreds of volunteers show up at food and friends in northeast washington. they pack up all the meals, and then another group comes in to deliver the meals. the backbone of the operation who gets this going every year is craig scheier, a good friend of mine. awesome. it is great every day of the year, but it is particularly fantastic today. >> it is. this is a special day. we do this every day, 52 weeks a year, but thanksgiving is a special day. we will be sending out meals to 5300 people today. people with aids, cancer, their friends and family. suzann
