in prince george's county, suzanne kennedy. lindsey: a developing story in manassas, police shot and 18-year-old after a chase into a park. we are in prince william county with the latest. >> manassas city police officers involved, the 18-year-old in the hospital suffering from serious injuries. this was a police case that turned into a police involved shooting. the unmarked police car with heavy front end damage and another police cruiser with damage and police still collecting evidence. that is the black suv, driven by the 18-year-old suspect which started around 12:40 this morning with reports of shots fired. police attempted to make a traffic the driver of the suv refused to stop and there was a chase which ended with two police officers discharging their weapons. the suspect left the vehicle, had a weapon, shots were exchanged. the suspect was hit and eight was rendered by both city police and he was flown to fairfax hospital. >> shots were exchanged? >> we fired shots, undetermined if he shot. he did display a weapon. >>
