. >> so we spent career expert suzy welch to go out to meet an >> that is right, i met a a woman who has cosmetics with a cause. >> reporter: in seattle this is where we caught up with chrissa bodyner who sis the founder of thrive cosmetics. they rare selling more than makeup. you woke up and wrote a business plan on the iphone and tell us why and how you started the company in the middle of the night? >> i started as a makeup artist when i was 1eaold, but i knew that i wanted to develop products. my friend caitlyn's dad worked for mac, and i saw all of the makeup in her bathroom and i said, oh, my gosh, i have to do this. >> reporter: in fact, she led to do it so much, she offered to do mine this morning, and she tells me it is in the early days of the en tre arepreneur when she got creative. the base of the eyeliner and the mascara as well in our blender. but you have to start from scratch. >> reporter: and that she did from starting in the kitchen and wiping out the savings for capital. >> i don't come from a lot of money, and i used my savings and that is why i have a full-time j
