sweetwater a few blocks from here used to have massive flooding before they put drainage. i live in west miami, waterfront property 20 years ago every time it rained. we happen to live in a swamp that's been filled in and now we have people living here. rising sea level impacting flooding, i'm in favor. of course we want to do all that. you're getting at a broader question, what public policy can we pursue? i want to lead the world in energy resource, fully utilize oil, natural gas, coal, nuclear energy, wind, solar, biofuels. i want to lead in all of them. i want the u.s. to be number one in every source of energy, have the most diverse portfolio possible. as far as what impact that's going to have on the climate, not even the most stringent advocate if they're being honest of these laws can tell you you're going to see a measurable difference in sea level any time in your lifetime or mine. the other hand, if we pass laws that mandate things on our economy, an economic cost will be associated with it. innovation and technology are driving us in the direction. my only argu
