symone sanders-townsend is with us. hours after kamala harris announced tim walz as her running mate the pair held their first joint rally before a packed crowd at temple university in philadelphia last night. thousands of supporters stood in the rain wrapped around blocks, hoping to get in to the 10,000 seat venue. according to the harris campaign, there were 14,000 attendees in the arena and overflow area. on truth social, the harris campaign mocked donald trump with a photo comparing last night's crowd with a rally trump held at the same venue in june. there you go. the difference in the crowd size which i guess is important to donald trump. in her remarks last night, vice president harris praised walz and explained why she chose him to join the ticket. governor walz then spoke about his own experience and background and they both explained what they see is at stake this november. >> to those who know him best, to those who know him best, tim is more than a governor. to his wife gwen, he is a husband. to his kids, ho

. >>> greetings, everyone, i am symone sanders-townsend in for stephanie ruhle. we are 10 days from the election, and it has been six weeks since the historic change at the top of the democratic ticket. in the meantime, kamala harris and tim walz's campaign has seen a surgeon momentum. we have watched this. thousands have gathered at rallies and voter enthusiasm has reached new highs. the campaign is also seeing record-breaking fundraising. last week, all of this was front and center during the democratic convention in chicago. harris and walz have spent this week speaking directly to voters and holding informal sessions with reporters, who are covering the harris-walz campaign, but their opponents, namely donald trump and his supporters, have claimed that harris was avoiding the scrutiny that comes with a sitdown interview. and that she was unwilling, or even unable to take part in questions from the media about what you would do in the white house. well, today, harris and walz, they sat down with an interview with cnn for the first since entering the race. and

symone finished in 5th. the sunni lee finished in 6th few hours later. simon have the floor competition where she and jordan chiles both competed. simon had a little bit of pain. it seems like in a left ankle or calf area. a great performance. unfortunately, not enough to get into that gold medal spot. the gold went to brazil for back on that simon got silver. big drama of the day, though, happened with jordan chiles. she initially did not make it onto the podium. but team usa officials contested the ruling. the judge is re-evaluated her performance and ended up agreeing with team usa who argue that hearst execution. the higher level of difficulty made her deserve more points. so she got more points. she ended up in the bronze medal spot. simone and jordan. you could just see the joy on their faces. this is the first individual olympic medal for jordan chiles. so it's a really sweet moment. and then on the podium, they both vowed to are back on dry day of brazil. it was a very sweet moment today to get to see how much they were supporting each other. so
