. >>> now let's bring in professor robert thompson, director of syracuse university center for televisionre. good to see you, sir. bill cosby one of the most famous men in the united states, if not around the world. what impact does this case have on his reputation? >> well, i think whatever the verdict was, there is no question that the first thing bill cosby is now going to be remembered for is this string of accusations that were given against him. we have to remember that the cosby show, his big five year in a row number one hit, ended 25 years ago which is -- means that most of my students don't know that show at all. what they know about cosby is, of course, this story. we should remember, i don't think we want to erase the history of what cosby did and he did some really important things. i don't like playing the jackie robinson of this or jackie robinson of that game, but you could really say cosby was the jackie robinson of television. south, lighter showers to the north and west and we're awaiting a cold front between pittsburgh and syracuse where there are storms firing up. this doesn't slide into our northwestern suburbs until late this evening, maybe around 10 o'clock. as we zoom in close most of the steady rain at this point is south of philadelphia, some pockets of heavy to moderate rainfall on the garden state parkway west of long beach island right through mays landing, the interchange of the atlantic city expressway wet from harrington down to atlantic city and that extends even down to fortescue as well as dover. so, in that area with it seeing a good amount of rain this afternoon, a flood advisory in effect until 7:15 for southern parts of cumberland county, central parts of atlantic county and extreme southern ocean and burlington county where there is minor flooding on area roads. as you go into the overnight hours tonight and beyond, those showers will start to drift off the coast but there could be some still popping up especially in those southern areas, maybe a late thunderstorm nearly the lehigh valley. v
