diane: investigators believe praepitcha smatsorabudh has schemed t.j. maxx of $1 million in designer handbags. >> it's unfortunate. diane: they believe the suspect was buying purchases averaging $2,000 a piece and taking them back to get a refund using a counterfeit bag and selling the real one online. like i mean i guess it's really smart. but like that is crazy. diane: according to the court documents the investigators say the suspect had been doing it since may of 2014. traveling to 12 different states to make returns at various t.j. maxx stores. it also says she was at one point its top online customer in the world making several purchases of high-end purses a week. >> it's amazing that the store wouldn't have a stricter policy for returns. as a way to avoid this. diane: authorities executed a search warrant at her apartment in arlington but noticed it didn't have much furniture and was "litters with purses." they believe she was importing the fake bags from china. is there the ripoffs are good at it. they look really good. diane: investigators found 600
