sierra, slight chance of seeing a few thundershowers east of lake tahoe. this is good news. we had lightning-sparked fires both here and across southern california. most of that moisture now is nudging off to the east. for the bay area, the main player continues to be the trough across the west coast pumping up the marine layer and giving us the sea breeze, which has kept most of us in the 60s and 70s over the last couple of days. inland temperatures today and tomorrow, though, trying to warm up a few extra degrees. we should see some mid-80s by livermore, concord and fairfield, morgan hill warming up. in fact, by tomorrow may get close to 90 in some of the warmest places so given how mild the summer has been that may feel a bit like a substarm warm-up. around lake tau thouhoe, temper in the 80s. we're expecting thunderstorm-free for the next couple of days. 78 in san jose, 80s further inland out toward the delta, vacaville, petaluma, 74. the seven-day forecast is starting to warm up inland, not much change on the coast, but not quite as cool as the last few days. then we'll

right now at 60 degrees in tahoe area., we'll be looking at temperatures today right around normal but actually a little shy around san francisco and in the north bay. we're looking at plenty of 60s. sunshine in san jose but most of the clear conditions are out here, east in livermore and concord this morning, with fog else where keeping the numbers cool, especially in the north bay, santa rosa and napa. highlight this morning, fog and low clouds to start off. deck is about thousand feet deep. it will be warm inland and warmer tomorrow and we'll all turn cooler as a trough of low pressure heads southward from the north. this afternoon, once again, we'll see the fog and low clouds at the coast. we begin to spill right in to the shoreline throughout the afternoon. just a couple of areas of clearing are expected around stinson beach and ocean beach, half moon bay and pacifica will stay cloudy. monterey will have some sunshine and stronger sea breeze will keep temperatures out of the triple-digit it range. here is the fall for
