we've seen some records in tahoe and reno, and in fact today that continues. we start out with the area of high pressure offshore, it continues to build. notice all the high clouds here. these are cirrus clouds and the next system will be deflected to the north due to high pressure building in. the cold front did bring the mist and drizzle, persistent at times in the morning hours and as it continues to singe to the south and east, it falls apart and allows for the skies to clear and the relative humidity to decrease out there. also the winds will be helping throughout the day today. statewide we are talking more 60s around the state. in fact, 70s in southern california, 74 los angeles. 55 in the southern sierra with tahoe coming in at 50. palm springs 78 degrees. so if you are headed out tonight early on we will have the clear skies. 40 in vallejo, 45al immediate dough with upper 40s san francisco. typically cool out there but back home numbers climbing. about two or three degrees up from yesterday readings. 66 in campbell. bright sunshine today and nice afte
