the two resorts of palisades tahoe are about to be connected for the very first time.ort operators say they are almost ready to open new gondola connecting olympic valley in alpine meadows. up until now, skiers and boarders have had to take a shuttle bus to get between those two resorts. the new gondola will go from base camp to base camp. palisades says the gondola will make the two resorts combined the largest in california. the gondola is set to open in mid december, about a month after the resorts are said to open for the season. mark you're going to like that. it will be very exciting yet collected two mountains there and, yeah, weather wise in the sierra. we could actually be talking about some snowfall. next week's another trying to make some still right now, but the real stuff could be headed their way over the next few days for us here in the bay area this weekend. a cold start tomorrow morning. partly sunny skies into the afternoon hours and more sunshine on sunday will be nice, and as we head toward your monday for halloween. we are expecting mostly cloudy s
