north lake tahoe would revamp the entire community of kings beach on tahoe's north shore.ns call for a major new hotel , dozens of new town houses and rental units reserved for local workers. these plans are at the early stage of development. so far, nothing's been purchased or approved. thousands of unusual blee bloo, rather sea creatures are washing up on our california coastline. they are commonly known as villelaailors and are o larger than a teacup. scientists say they are showing up on beaches from point a rita all the way to san diego. they are a distant cousin of the jellyfish , but they cannot swim and become stranded in the sand. experts say the wind and the currents pushed them ashore, experts warned. they are mostly harmless, but they can't cause some irritation to the skin or humans and pets. oakland all the big victory parade this weekend on to champion high school basketball teams. fans filled the streets of downtown oakland honor. oakland text girls varsity basketball team and oakland highs. boys varsity team. both teams are celebrating state championships.

there's snow falling up in the sierra nevada, mostly in the northern sierra, especially north of lake tahoe. let's zoom in on the bay area, though. some pockets of heavier rain right now centered up above oakland and san leandro as well as around el granada and half moon bay. san francisco saw some heavier pockets moments ago. rainfall, intensity diminishing temporarily before the more heavy rain pushes in this morning. so this is having impact on the commute. things are slick out there at this point, though, we all know how to drive in it. you're pretty good at getting through those wet spots by now. we've got one more to get through. the rest of the forecast. looks to be dry. futurecast shows you these areas of green mostly indicating light to moderate rain, but also some yellow pockets popping up through the morning. those will be areas that rainfall picks up for only a few brief moments by 08:00am. we're already looking at showers really dispersing in by 10, 11 to noon. we're pretty much done with it. and that's great news for the giants home opener later today. first pitch is at one. 3

kind of hanging out in tahoe.been talking a lot about the snow melt that's happening there. and here's we take this live look at incline village. of course, we've been watching kind of this pile of snow that had been here for. >> you know, the whole season. and as you can see, it is now melted. and while that concern that things melt too quickly is certainly a legitimate one, at least for the next couple of days. we have some cooler air that should help slow things down just a little bit as this next kind of weak front rolls through. you can see already bringing some snow flakes up you know, parts of extreme northern california and some of the mountains there. and eventually that is going to work its way towards tahoe, which right now is just seeing some clouds. you can see a little bit of likely virga, nothing kind of hitting the ground, meaning it's just a little rain that showing up on the radar kind of higher up in the atmosphere. but we do expect that it will eventually make its way to the ground, at least if
