city. the financial district. the pyramid, the bridge, the water, all very inviting. tomorrow rain everyone including yosemite sacramento redding and mount shasta and yes that is snow in and around lake tahoe. let's talk more about that. there is a winter weather advisory in effect. the snow level will be the lowest i have seen it this year. 4,000 feet. we could see 6" of snow at lake level which would increase the total for the year by 600%. we have had one inch for the entire calendar year. we may see six coming up this weekend. and your forecast if you are heading up there the winter weather advisory in effect. let's talk about why a retreating ridge of high pressure is still out there strong not as close and over the ridge we're finding an area of low pressure diving down from the gulf of alaska. we'll get a few showers tomorrow. big change will be the clouds and the breeze and the cooler weather. the better chance of showers is coming up on saturday as the actual area of center of low pressure passes by. so watch out for scattered showers both tomorrow and saturday. and down toward gilroy down toward santa cruz we may hear a rumble of thunder coming up saturday night. vallejo tomorrow
