good morning annie. >> reporter: good morning tam. and a gruesome discovery by that little boy. point investigators say it is still early in the investigation. they can say that they are investigating the woman's death as a homicide but they are not ready to say if this is a case of a murder-suicide. around 1:00 p.m. tuesday police say a young boy discovered his parents dead inside their lower moreland township home and called 911. >> the death of the female seems to be an apparent homicide. however, the investigation is continuing. this is preliminary if this point. >> reporter: investigators have not released the names but family friends and records show they were 43-year-old nicole peppelman and 48-year-old chris peppelman who operated this huntingdon valley excavating company. because of the gruesome nature of the crime it took first responders police and county detectives hours to go through the scene. it appears the weapon was a chainsaw. we're told the couple were having problems. police even responded in the past for domestic issues and recently the wife moved their thre
