good morning, annie. >> reporter: good morning, tam. mostly sunny are still out here soon. can see he that white vehicle dodge charger that's where investigators are focusing much of their attention on. neighbors called 911 after seeing the victim in the driver's side of that vehicle. the car was still running. they thought it was a medical emergency or he was sleeping but had no idea he was shot until medics arrived. well, this is video from the scene a short time ago. police say the victim was shot multiple times including at least once in the chest. you can see investigators are chroming through the block looking for evidence. police did find several projectiles inside of the car. they believe the victim lives on this block and was borrowing his friend's vehicle. that vehicle we just showed you. now, when neighbors approached the vehicle, it was running with the driver's side window down. they thought he was asleep or possibly dead. police don't know how long he had been there until he was discovered. >> we're getting information that he may have been in the vehicle in t

good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam. police are still trying to make sense of exactly what happened here. the investigation continues. those two police officers were taken to hahnemann university hospital where they're being treated and they're expected to be released pretty soon but let me show you the scene right now here at 15th and parish. you can see there's some crashed-up vehicles here. this is the second scene of the two. this all started overnight at broad street and brown in spring garden. two undercover officers were driving in an unmarked pickup truck when they were broadsided by another vehicle at that intersection. that vehicle took off and the officers were taken to the hospital. meanwhile a 33-year-old driver of a white ford that you see here on this scene pulled up to the scene of the accident and apparently told police he got scared. for some reason he got out of his ford while it was moving and then two people separate from the first accident saw the car engine running. they got into the car. they took

good morning, katherineism good morning, tam. good news here is that nobody was seriously injured. the two plainclothes officers were taken to hahnemann university hospital. we're told one of them has a concussion, the other is complaining of neck shoulder and back pain but they are stale and they are expected to be okay. we're here at the second of the two scenes. at 15th and parish in north philadelphia. they're working to clear it right now. they're together away some of the damaged vehicles from this bizarre series of events that happened overnight. this all starter around 2:00 a.m. on broad street and brown in spring garden. two plainclothes officers from the 22nd district were driving south on broad back to central detectives in an unmarked pickup truck when they were hit by another vehicle at the intersection. that vehicle, a dark or black sedan, which now will have front end damage took off. the officers were taken to the hospital almost immediately. at some point around this time, police are still trying to nail down the

take a look of men suspected of fatally stabbing a british tourist. 48-year-old paul tam was with his niece during the attack. she was not hurt. the stabbing happened on february 18th on post street between franklin and goth street. this is surveillance video. three people get into a confrontation and paul tam tries to run away and is stabbed by ther attacker. he died a month later from the stabbing. >> another shooting in richmond and at least a dozen over the past six months. the ch p says 8:30 two gunman in a minivan pulled up alongside a taxi cab and opened fire. the taxi pull off the highway and the passengers ran off on foot while the cab driver stayed behind. no one reported injured. the chp is looking for witnesses or anyone that may have information on this latest shooting. the only description of the vehicle is a minivan with two men inside. >> now to oakland where people are searching for a man seen on surveillance video. at one partnership he attempts to open a door and disappears around the corner. tonight neighbors are calling him the ninja burglar. crime reporter henry
