good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam. police have cleared the scene here in parkside and they're still trying to determine exactly what happened. they're talking to witnesses and they're talking with family members. it happened right down the street here on the 4200 block of viola street. a man shot and killed right outside his home. it happened just before 2:00 a.m. police on patrol heard several gun shots and found the 22-year-old victim lying in the street. he was unresponsive, gun shot wounds to his head. medics from nearby fire station rushed over and pronounced him dead at the scene. he parked his car in front of his house and went inside. a friend had been waiting by the car. he came back out and two men emerged from a vacant lot. they were wearing ski masks and white t-shirts and both had guns possibly revolveers. police say they chased after the victim and opened fire. >> when the victim collapsed in the 4200 block of viola, both of the shooters stood over the victim and continued to stand over his body and fire

good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam. three teenagers were shot last night.w know one of them, a 15-year-old boy, died overnight. detectives here at the homicide division are investigating. let's go to video from southwest philadelphia. this happened around 10 o'clock last night. police say three boys ages 14, 15 and 16 had been in a basketball tournament at a court right off baltimore avenue. they were walking from a playground following the game when authorities say they were ambushed boot 6000 block of baltimore. at least 10 shots were fired. the 15-year-old was shot in the face. he was taken to the hospital in critical condition and we now know he died overnight. the 14-year-old was shot in the arm and the 16-year-old in the ankle. those injuries were not life-threatening. investigators say last week there was a fight after a game involving at least one of the boys and it's possible that the two incidents are connected. police do have descriptions of the two people that they're looking for. >> one is a male wearing a white t-shirt, black adidas shorts and

good morning. >> reporter: good morning, tam, that's right.e three teenagers who were shot, one of them died overnight. he was 15 years old and investigators here at the homicide division continue to investigate this case. again, no arrests have been made. let's go to video from southwest philadelphia last night. this happened around 10 o'clock. police were called to the scene to investigate. police say three boys agents 14, 15 and 16 had been in a basketball tournament right off baltimore avenue. they were walking from a playground right after the game let out when authorities say they were ambushed on the 1600 block of baltimore. at least 10 shots were fired from a large caliber semi-automatic weapon. >>> the 15-year-old was slot in the face. he was taken to the hospital in critical condition and we now know he died overnight. the 14-year-old was slot in the arm and the 16-year-old in the ankle. those injuries were not life-threatening. investigators say last week there was a fight at a basketball game involving at least one of the boys and
