good morning everybody, september 1, tam is off, nydia han joins us, david murphy is watching hermine and karen rogers is looking at i-95. >> reporter: a major accident blocks a major highway for hours. people are stuck in the backlog. this is i-95 southbound all traffic is blocked. this is the accident scene approaching washington avenue. let me show you what you're looking at, that's the jackknifed tractor-trailer. part of the problem, the front of the tractor-trailer is wedged up against the wall. it's going to be hard to straighten out, after they do remove it, penndot has to check the wall out. all the emergency works came to respond to an accident and that's when the tractor-trailer hit the fire truck responding to the first accident. people are getting out and walking around not sure what to do. this is the stuck traffic. watch this guy as he starts to turn around, maybe police are letting people turn around. these guys are watching, can we turn around and drive the other way on the highway. hope they didn't drink a lot of coffee. this is i-95 southbound what they are doing now
