. >> reporter: good morning, tam. just a disturbing crime like you said.ding to police, these women were both shot in the head. now, the good news is there was a witness to this inside of the home and police say that man is cooperating with the investigation. police say first they were called, then when they got there greeted by a man at the door. when next they go inside the 1200 block of the greeby street home and make a disturbing discovery, two women shot and killed, both in the head. >> the first victim on the first floor aged 66, she was in a wheelchair when she was shot and killed. second victim aged 44 was on the second floor hallway where she was pronounced dead. at this time we have no motive for the shooting. >> reporter: right now detectives say their top priority is extracting all of the information they can from that man who greeted them at the door. >> we do have an individual that was inside the house at the time who was transported to homicide as a witness at this time. >> reporter: it's believed that the two victims both lived at the home

matt and tam. >> let's go back to the breaking news story that you mentioned, fire broke out in a west philadelphia home killing a person inside. jeanette reyes is live on the 800 block of north holly street with the full story. >> reporter: this is the second fatal fire in philadelphia in just a matter of days. the last one started at 3:30 a.m., take a live look behind me. this is the home where it started. investigators inside trying to find the cause of the fire. before we get to video, though, i want to focus on the fire hydrant you see directly in front of the home. despite this fire hydrant being here and the firefighters arriving in less than 3 minutes it was not enough. the reason why there are no occupants next-door, the one home on the right is boarded up, on the other side there's no one are no neighbors. so the call to police to 911 came too late. firefighters arrived on scene, they knocked down the fire in about 20 minutes, but, again, the occupant inside was found dead. at this point no word whether it was a male or female. take a listen to what officials had to say. >> i
