. >> we know tamir rice is on a lot of minds today. let's talk about other rollbacks.l justice program, gutting that feels particularly painful in light of what happened in flint, michigan. what do you make of that endeavor to push that back? >> i think that what is happening and these proposals for the epa and labor department, the actions that the administration has taken to cut back voting rights, police reform, reviving discredited criminal justice policies, these are death by a thousand cuts that in all make no mistake, these are very consequentual roll backs. it really is par of a concerted agenda to roll back civil rights, to hurt communities of color and to hurt lgbt communities and all of this, of course, happening against a back drop of horrific hate violence taking place around the country. what is concerning about the epa action and actions reported in the "washington post" today is that every federal agency is tasked with having an office for civil rights to ensure that our taxpayer dollars do not fund discrimination. american taxpayers deserve to know tha
