the report says average personal income in the tampa-st. pete-clearwater area... is up to 43-thousand dollars a year.. that's a 6-hundred dollar increase from 2014... across the u-s though.. average income was just shy of 50-thousand a year.. and the average across the entire florida.. was 48-thousand.. the numbers highlight a growing gap between income, and living costs.. driven by the fact many of the new jobs created in tampa bay are lower-wage positions in retail, leisure and hospitality.. for those in the north port-sarasota-bradenton area.. things are a little above average.. personal income was up to 51-thousand dollars.. much of pasco, hernando, and polk counties however.. are well below.. neither of home ... the bank says the number of customers opening accounts fell 44 percent from a year ago - while new credit card applications tumbled 50 percent... back in september, wells fargo agreed to pay 185-million-dollars in penalties for opening up millions of accounts in customers' names without their permission.
