tara moriarty is joining us live from one of those spots. tara, good morning. >> reporter: good morning. we're on pearson street. this is where a woman said a man on a bicycle sexually assaulted her. since then two more incidents happened. the first happened here near railroad square last july. and then in february a woman was attacked on a trail at spring lake. the the most recent case took place monday afternoon shortly after 2:30 when a woman was assaulted on a walking trail along round barn boulevard. we want to show you a sketch of the man who the victims describe as white in his 30s, tall, around 6 feet with characteristics suggesting substance abuse or mental disability. police say in two of the cases the suspect appears to have a flat or smashed in face with wide set eyes similar to someone with down syndrome. the stranger also appeared stunned when the woman tried to fend him off. detectives say there was substantial physical contact in each case. enough to qualify it as rape. there is a $2500 reward being offered in this case. leav

tara moriarty is in the neighborhood this morning. how much of an environmental hazard is this at this point? >> reporter: it's pretty big one -- this creek, of course, empties into lake merritt. we know this started off as a minor repair job to seal a pipeline, and now it is a major cleanup effort all because someone left a valve open. fbns said one of its contractors was working just above mountainview cemetery when they accidentally pumped 120 cubic yards of wet concrete into glenn echo creek. it's the main creek emptying into lake merritt. >> unfortunately in the stretch of creek where the crept flood, any of the wildlife underneath would have died with that crept that flood over. our biologists were here on site, and we think it mostly was insects that were here. this is usually a drier creek with the drought we've been having. >> reporter: cleanup work started yesterday afternoon, and is expected to take about three days to get the crept out of the stream bed. they say they have launched an investigation to see what led up to th
