tara moriarty is joining us live. what is the latest, tara? >> reporter: talk about a mystery. this call came in as a medical. they thought these victims were suffering from sort of virus but they probably had headaches, stomach ache, nashua, and these symptoms can be confused with carbon monoxide poisoning. half a dozen people were sick. two had to be hospitalized and four were treated here at the scene. we believe all of the victims were flight attendants with singapore airlines. the health department was here on scene where they did find elevated levels of carbon monoxide. they cannot figure out where the gas was coming from. we are told the incident happened on the fourth floor. we went and took a look inside of the hotel and based on the fire report these two rooms are across the hall from each other. carbon monoxide is a odorless, colorless gas so it's particularly dangerous when it cuts you off guard. we do not know the source of where the fumes with ever coming from. we're here live in san francisco tara moriarty ktvu channel 2 news. >> all right, tara, thank you. >>> w
