live from oakland, i'm tara moriarty, ktvu channel 2 news. >> all right. >>> 7:05. just hours ago, a san jose house was engulfed in flames. flames and smoke were shooting through the roof by the time firefighters got there. but everyone inside got out safely. now, ktvu's janine de la vega is live outside the home right now to show us the damage and also tell us what firefighters found inside. good morning, janine. >> reporter: good morning, dave. as you can see the home is still standing. much of the damage occurred in the attic where firefighters found a shrine with lights. there's damage to that room and all of the prayer items inside were destroyed. firefighters arrived and found flames coming out of the home near virginia. four people were inside the home when it started at 3:30 a.m. but were able to escape. the homeowner called 911 after hearing a crackling sound coming from the attic and seeing the fire. crews were able to knock down the flames within 2020 minutes and save the home -- 20 minutes and save the home. fire officials say it appears the fire started
