eyewitness news reporter darla miles live for us in tarrytown with more. hey darla. >> reporter: hey rob. this is going to be a four hour operation. a crane should begin to raise that tug boat around 7:00 this morning. that is expected to take about an hour and then it should take another three hours to secure the wreckage on to a barge. recover the body of that third crew member and then begin to haul the wreckage away. now again, this tug boat crashed near the tappan zee bridge about two weeks ago. it crashed into a barge about two weeks ago and all three crew members on board at the time were killed. now the bodies of 63-year-old timothy conklin have already been recovered but crews didn't recover the body of 56-year-old harry hernandez in the wreckage. that's about 40 feet underwater and the reason why crews are going in at 7:00 this morning is because that's considered slack tide. at this point the timeline of course is expected to hold but of course it could change if the weather changes. reporting live in tarrytown, darla miles, channel 7 eyewitness

dari: lidia curanaj is live in tarrytown with more on the recovery effort. hi. >> reporter: good evening. right now authorities are scanning the surface of the hudson river. originally they wanted to send in divers, but the visibility out there is so poor, that when the drivers went in, they could barely see six inches in front of their face. authorities are continuing to scan the surface of the hudson river. on saturday around 5:00 a.m., crane in the darkness crashed into a stationary barge at the tappan zee bridge construction site. two bodies were recovered over the weekend. paul ammons and timothy conklin of westbury, long island. autopsies revealed both men drowned. harry hernandez, 56 of staten island, is missing and presumed dead. westchester county rob astorino: >> the water temperature was very cold. this part of the year, it was approximately 40 degrees. >> reporter: astorino said there's no timetable for when the sunken ship will be pulled out of the water. approval from the coast guard is expected by the end of the week. the vessel is estimated t
