and so they often found they would get together in the women's restroom outside of the teague auditorium at johnson space center to talk about the interviewers and what did they want, what were they interested in, how far were they willing to go to try and figure out, you know, how they might proceed as a group so that you know, they would be comfortable talking about certain issues, maybe their private lives were were not included in their discussions, but more of their public life. so that was interesting. the other discussion that she had that i featured was the fact that she wasn't selected to fly first. and you know what are her memories of that mission of seven that flew in 1983? one thing that i thought was very interesting is she decided not to watch that mission launch. she had been at johnson space center for every other launch. she'd watched them with everyone else, and she decided, i need to go somewhere else. so she went for a bench trek in san diego and gave a talk. and then funny thing is, when they were going to land that mission, they were supposed to land in florida. we
