[applause] already we've secured over a billion dollars in funding for career andan technical education and $25 million for the career connected high schools now it is time to build on that. to help get there in november we launched a pathways initiative called raise the bar unlocking career success. together with the first lady and secretary and commerce. as we rollout the initiative it will include very specific plans on how the high school should evolve and meet the career coach pathways of today and tomorrow. better yet use the plan. it also means the career pathways and high schools can lead to credentials for the jobs of today and tomorrow. we have the students for the careers needed to build america we just have to align ourselves. we must tell in our myopic view that emphasizing these are about the viewwa about a four-year college or robust. advancing career pathways is about more options for studentsl not less. what it does iswh prepare them r the careers of today with options and in some cases the employer will pay for their future education. if we do this well gradu

college and be angry at their parents. the trick here is to go back to vocational education, but not machine and so fourth but technical skills software industry. we're moving in that direction, but the private sector is doing it. not the educational system. people like google and so forth. they are educating people now. stuart: you're an economist. are we going into a recession and if we are going into a recession how bad do you think it's going to be? >> not bad. it really is immaterial whether we have a recession or not. you know, whether we go along at 5% negative growth or 2% positive growth, we're having a slowdown and that's going to put the skids on price increases in some measure. the trick here is to stay with it, not try to res resurrect the economy we did too quickly and we didn't stay with it long enough and inflation came back but yet even stronger but this is not deep if we have it, and the economy is not going to be robust if we miss it. we're going to be hovering around zero. stuart: that means possibly a stock market rally, because the fed will stop raising rates aggressively. are you with me on that? >> yea
