you play ted kennedy. you got the word "car," you nailed the word "car" which is the most important word when you're doing an accent like that. >> yes. when i got the role i was doing the play in london. and the accent is obviously very important when you're doing this. ted kennedy had a very specific accent. it wasn't just a boston accent, it was an upper-crust accent. so they hired a dialect coach for me and i worked 12 to 15 times on the accent. >> jimmy: while doing the play? >> yeah. it was really important to get it down. and i paid for this dialect coach. he taught me the wrong accent. >> jimmy: oh, wow. >> yeah. >> jimmy: how did you find out? >> i didn't know that, so he taught me the wrong accent, and here's the accent that he taught me. and i questioned it. but he taught me that ted kennedy spoke like this. this is the accent he taught me. he taught me ted kennedy talked like this. and i was like, really? during intimate conversations he spoke like that? he was like, yes. and so i was going arou

obviously he was called by then candidate trump lying ted. is his charm going to work when there's so much personal history between him and some of these politicians that he fought against? >> reporter: well, that's an interesting question. when you talk about these politicians that he's called out, for example, paul ryan and other members of the house republican conference, they say privately behind the scenes he's an entirely different guy, that he -- he is very charming one on one. he doesn't use the hyperbole and is able to smooth things over. so we'll see what the fallout is today, but keep in mind, senator ted cruz is a very important person when it comes to getting this repeal and replace plan through the senate and, you know, earlier this week when senator rand paul, also a former presidential contender, and mike lee, two very staunch conservatives in the senate came out and opposed, basically panned the repeal and replace plan, ted cruz was not at that press conference and that signaled to a lot of republicans, maybe he's taking a st

ted?porter: yeah, vai and tray sis, t -- tracy, atlantic city fire department is dealing with multiple calls. they are urging people to stay calm, but a lot of folks have decided to chance it. they've driven into water like this and they've gotten stuck. this is indicative of what we're seeing throughout atlantic city and also ventnor, margate, towns on these barrier islands that are prone to flooding. they are certainly dealing with it today from this nor'easter we had. hours and hours of heavy rain. then we had high tide. then moderate tidal flooding, coastal flooding approaching almost the major level here in atlantic city as the nor'easter drove the northeast winds toward the coast. you can see somebody right there trudging through the water. it is very hard, if not impossible, to avoid if you neat to go ahead anywhere on a sidewalk, also on the street. many of these streets here in atlantic city, particularly the flood prone ones, are under water as of right now. here you see somebody
