ted cruz's one moment of clarity and honesty. and of course it's ted cruz, but it's typical of republican senators, republican members of the house. now "the washington post" and "the new york times" have both asked each member, republican member of the senate and the house, to the simple fact that joe biden won the election, is he president? 11 republican senators said yes. and depending on the count of the republican members of the house who are not about to leave it's eight or nine of the 200 plus who say, yeah, trump lost, biden won. it's -- it's remarkable. but of course throughout this administration for me i am surprised again and again and again at that, at the level to which the republican elected leaders who ought to know better, most of them i don't think are delusional. most of them understand, for instance, that the conspiracy theories in which donald trump has always trafficked and which he's trafficking again now in order to discredit this obviously perfectly fair and accurate election, that they are enabling that.
